Pizza Base

Ingredients

Dough for ONE pizza

  • 100g water
  • 160-170g bread flour
  • 3.5g salt
  • sourdough or yeast

for Sauce (enough for 6 pizza)

  • 1 can of peel tomatoes (440g)
  • 1% salt (4.4g)
  • any additional seasoning, e.g. oregano

Instructions

For Dough

  1. Mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Knead until smooth. Do NOT overknead.
  3. Ball it up and leave to rise.
  4. (Optional) Cold ferment for additional flavour. Take dough out about 1-2 hours before cooking to let it warm up to room temperature.

For Sauce

  1. Crush tomatoes.
  2. Season tomato sauce.
