Legacy Heroes is a Descended from the Queen game, ie. it is based on For the Queen by Alex Roberts. In the original game, a set of Queen cards provide illustrations to inspire the players’ imagination. So in Legacy Heroes, I have aspired to do the same.

I’m working on a new game at the moment. It is a storytelling game about the sidekicks of a dead superhero who are doing their best to uphold their mentor’s legacy.

I’ve made a newsletter. You’ve probably seen the subcribe button I plastered on the top of this website.

Hello Void!!

Last year, I became a member of my local library. It has been a really good deal. For a yearly membership fee that is equivalent to the price of a large latte, I can borrow 10 books at a time for up to 1-2 months.

I’ve been spending the weekend updating my recipe collection. It essentially includes typing up the recipes and indexing them.

Welp! That blogging and game writing streak didn’t last.

I kinda did it. I took the time to do the layout of a project as promised.

Since my last blog post, I’ve been busy working on my games. In that post, I mentioned my breakthrough in working on Pets & Fedoras, and that I had been reworking its layout. However, I haven’t worked any on it since then. The last 10% (?) of the layout remains undone. So what have I been doing instead?

I’ve been in the process of rewriting Pets and Fedoras after the accidental break down of the game in the design process. I’ve made two big changes: the first in the core mechanic of the game, and the second in the layout of the game as in the title of this post.

I recently released I Love You But We Must Fight for free on itch.io.

The current game I am working on is Pets and Fedoras. It started out as a Lasers and Feelings hack where you play as animal spies like in a Saturday morning cartoon.

It’s been said that the blogs are the dreams of the RPG community. As I’m nothing if not a dreamer, I too am throwing my metaphorical hat into the RPG blogosphere.

This is a test blog post. Hopefully it’ll go up with no problems.
