Chocolate Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 90g flour
  • 60g cocoa powder
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 50g granulated sugar
  • 50g brown sugar
  • 80ml oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 120ml milk + 1/2 tbsp vinegar
  • Chocolate Buttercream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C. Line muffin pan with cupcake liners.

  2. Whisk dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

  3. In a medium bowl, whisk wet ingredients except for milk together.

  4. Pour half of the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, then half the milk and whisk. Then repeat with the rest.

  5. Fill cupcake liners with batter until halfway.
  6. Bake for 18-21 minutes.
  7. Cool, then frost with buttercream.
