Ingredients

1 cup sugar

1/2 block unsalted butter, cold

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

3/4 cup dutch-processed cocoa

3 large eggs

3/4 cup gluten-free flour

1 tsp baking powder
Instructions

Preheat oven to 175 C. Prepare an 8” square pan.

Melt butter with sugar and salt.

In a mixing bowl, mix together vanilla and cocoa powder with the butter mixture.

When butter has cooled down, mix in eggs.

Fold in flour and baking powder.

If adding chocolate chips and/or nuts, fold them in.

Pour batter into baking pan and bake for 33-38 min, until the top is set.

Cool for 15 min before cutting.
