Basic Quinoa

Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa

  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Rinse quinoa under running water for 30 seconds

  2. Boil quinoa over medium-high heat, then simmer for 10-20 minutes, until quinoa has absorbed all water.

  3. Remove pot from heat, cover, and let quinoa steam for 5 minutes.

  4. Fluff quinoa, and season with salt and olive oil to taste. [Note: Optional]
