Baked Donuts

Ingredients

(for 6 mini-donuts)

Dry Ingredients

  • 120g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/8 tsp cinnamon

Wet Ingredients

  • 22.5g melted butter
  • 75g sugar (can be a mix of white and brown)
  • 120ml milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Melt butter. Leave to cool.
  2. Preheat oven to 180C. Grease your donut pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk dry ingredients together.
  4. In a separatate bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar. Followed by milk, melted butter and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. (Do not overmix)
  6. Pipe donut batter into donut pan, filling each to about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 12 minutes.
  8. When donuts are cool enough to handle, top or glaze your donut as you wish.
